Private Pay Advantage Many people do not know that in order to receive counseling or mental health services through insurance requires a mental health diagnosis. This then becomes a part of your permanent health care record that many people throughout the insurance company may see. Insurance companies have varying rules about service coverage that may or may not be in your best interests. I believe you are in the best position to decide what services you need and therefore have chosen to keep my rates affordable and only accept private payment. Some Out-of-Network benefits, Medical Flex Spending accounts or Health Savings Accounts reimburse private payments. I will provide you with the information you need if my services are reimbursable. |
